For Parents

Hour of Code T-Shirt

Now through Friday November 11, you may order your student an Hour of Code t-shirt to observe our district-wide event celebrating Computer Science Education Week! Students may wear their t-shirt on the day of the week that they have Computers special during the weeks of December 5th & 12th and throughout the school year.

All elementary computer classes will be participating in the Hour of Code which is a fun, challenging, and interactive introduction to computer science and computer programming for all ages.


T-shirts are just $6 each and may be ordered using the following link:

*In the section where it states, "Leave Christina a Private Note", include your child's name and school. T-shirts will be delivered to your student just before Computer Science Education Week which begins on December 5th.

Thanks for celebrating our initiative which ensures that every student has the opportunity to learn computer science!


Improved Communication

Between Home and School

 Lake Central School Coporation has added three new resources in order to improve communication between students, teachers, parents, administrators, and the community.

Below is a short summary of what each system provides for parents and students. If you need information on how to create an account, please contact the Bibich main office at 219.322.1185.



Student Information System that shows student schedules, grades, attendance, and discipline. It is also used for online registration and to pay for school lunches. 


Learning Management System that shows what students are learning and doing in class each day.


A Scheduling Solution for school sponsored teams, organizations and clubs. Will be used mostly at the middle and high school level if your child participates in extracurriculars.

Parents, manage your child's lunch account online! Check balance, deposit funds using Mealtime Online! 

Cafeteria News When writing a check for school lunches, please put the child’s name on the check. If you have more than one child, you may write one check per family and indicate how you want it split. Remember to put your driver’s license number on all checks written to the school. The price for lunch is $2.20 and breakfast is $1.50.
